CULTURAL COMMITTEE
Purpose of Cultural Committee:

The main purpose of Cultural Committee is to provide a platform to all the students where students can show their talent in different fields. Maximum number of students should participate.

The purpose behind organizing such events is to motivate the students and and bring their hidden talents in front of the world.

For this reason many programmes are undertaken by cultural committee every year.
Students are rewarded for their achievements in various fields.
Different events organized by cultural committee in the academic year 2020-02021 are as follows:
Independence Day:
The Independence day celebration was conducted by the students and staff of the college on 15th August 2022. The National flag of India was hoisted by Nagar sevak of Bhiwandi area Shri Balaram Chaudhary in our college campus. Soon after the flag hoisting our college students sang the National Anthem followed by the Prayer song. Our honorable Chief Guest Shri Balaram Chaudhary, gave a very inspiring speech for students. After that vote of thanks was given by Mrs Uzma Momin, Principal of Swayam siddhi Night degree College. Small cultural programme organized by the students ended with a Drama and Lazim Dance. Students were asked to move to their respective classes for sharing of sweets.
Republic Day:
The Independence day celebration was conducted by the students and staff of the college on 26 January, 2019. The National flag of India was hoisted by Mr. Balaram Chaudhary, Nagar sevak of Bhiwandi area, in our college campus. Soon after the flag hoisting our college students sang the National Anthem followed by patriotic songs by group of students. Then the prize distribution ceremony was held and the students were given awards and certificates for their achievements in sports day.
Days Celebration(Saree Day, Traditonal Day, Chocolate Day, Black & White Day, Rose Day, Pink Day) :
Several Days were celebrated in the college so that students can have fun. These activities or competitions were done among students.
Sports Day –
Annual Sports day was organized on 23rd and 24th December 2018, on college ground. Shri Parag Khandekar, managing trustee of our college inaugurated the sports meet and briefed the importance of sports activity for the overall personality development of the person and appealed the students to have a good role model to follow on.
Our Principal Dr. G.S.Shikare addressed the gathering and also motivated the student to participate in the events by being present for the entire day. Maximum number of students took part in all events. Teaching and non-teaching staff extended their full support for the smooth conduction of all the events on time.
Annual Fest (“RUPANTARAM”) – organized on 20th & 21st December 2018 -
Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh’s Degree College in collaboration with Swayam Siddhi College of Management & Research celebrated its Intercollegiate Annual Fest on 20th & 21st December, 2018 in the college campus in a grand manner. The function started at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 5:00 p.m on both the days. Various management, technical and cultural competitions were organized where students from many neighbouring colleges had participated. There was dance, song, skit, comedy performances and management games. Maximum number of students from our college as well as other colleges participated in the event. The fest concluded with prize distribution ceremony by the hands of Shri Suresh Jain, managing trustee of Swayam Siddhi College of Management & Research.
