NSS REPORT – 7 Days Residential Special Camp
Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh’s Degree College, Bhiwandi. NSS Unit have been successfully concluded NSS 7 Days Special Camp at Nandithane Village, Dist. Thane, from 24th December to 30th December 2018 with the pre-decided theme ‘Swachha Bharat Abhiyan’.
Day 1 – 24/12/2018.
Inauguration of NSS Camp, SSMSC was the foremost beginning of Camp in the presence of Hon. Sarpanch Mr. Anil Bhoir, Upsarpanch Mrs. Sujata Shelar, Members of Grampanchayat Nandithane & NSS Volunteers. The entire respected guest present during the Camp blessed NSS Volunteers and encourage them to work well for the 7 Days and assured them to support them throughout the Camp.
NSS Volunteers planned to survey the Camp Area on the first day to do better arrangement for next days for the villagers. Teaching and non-teaching staff guided them toward safety.
Day 2 – 25/12/2018.
Day was started with NSS Prayer ‘Uthe Samaj ke liye’. Volunteers cleaned the residence area, A common hall was elected to live and cooking etc., after that cleanliness of village’s area initiated as decided by Camp Activity team. Post Lunch there was a session arrange for the volunteers on “Personal Grooming” by senior NSS Volunteer Mr. Abdullah Chaudhary. He shared his experiences about real situations of Personality in current world and responsibilities of each and everyone towards Cleanliness.
There after all the accomplishment of sessions at night we arranged the cultural event in which the volunteers performed a play.
Day 3 – 26/12/2018.
Camp theme was ‘Swaccha Bharat’, according to that the 3rd day of special camp started with the Cleaning at “Bagpada” and other areas. This Place was the sitting area for the poor people and volunteers planned to clean it for them. After cleaning some tree saplings also plant by SSMSC Volunteers.
The 3rd Day Post Lunch Session was conducted by the Hon Principal Dr. G.S. Shikhare & HOD Prof. Ravi Bitla on “Stress Management”. During the Session he highlighted the reason that why crimes are increasing and what is youth role to control the anger & stress as well as to control the unfair situations. Volunteers ask many doubts to the HOD during the session and HOD responded well to all doubts & cleared them with experience.
Day 4 – 27/12/2018.
On the day 4th NSS Unit organized a session at Z.P. School Nandi thane in which Mr. Prashant Jadhav and Z.P. school Principal guided the students of the school and motivated the volunteers of SSMSC along with the students of Z.P. School. He shared his past experience related to the society of how to become a responsible person in the society. Though he encouraged the Volunteers to maintain peace and cleanliness in the society.
